A strategic appointment to support the group's transformation

The Groupe Banque Richelieu has announced the appointment of Christophe Juniet as Chief Future Officer, in charge of Technology, Data and Artificial Intelligence. The creation of this role reflects the group's determination to make technological innovation a central pillar of its development, particularly across its key markets in France, Monaco, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.

A new business line dedicated to technology and AI

In his new role, Christophe Juniet will lead a team of around ten specialists bringing together the technology, data and artificial intelligence expertise of the various entities within Groupe Banque Richelieu. This organisation aims to strengthen the consistency of digital projects while taking into account the regulatory and wealth management specificities of each market.

For an international private bank, the challenge now lies in combining excellent client service, personalised wealth management and operational efficiency through new technologies. Artificial intelligence is now emerging as a major lever for optimising data analysis, improving internal processes and enriching relationships with high-net-worth clients.

A recognised expert in fintech and banking systems

Aged 48, Christophe Juniet has a particularly solid track record in financial technology and digital banking infrastructure. He began his career at Crédit Agricole CIB Cheuvreux, where he worked on algorithmic trading systems, before joining Criteo in 2011. At the French company specialising in digital advertising, he held several technical management roles, ultimately becoming Head of Engineering.

From 2018, he took part in the creation of Memo Bank, one of the first French digital banks for businesses. There he successively held the roles of Chief Technology Officer and then Chief Technical Product Officer, while overseeing the design of the bank's core banking system.

Groupe Banque Richelieu's presence in Monaco gives this digital transformation particular significance. The Principality is indeed one of Europe's leading centres for wealth management and private banking, with a demanding international clientele and growing needs in terms of security, compliance and personalised services.

In this context, the integration of data-driven and artificial intelligence solutions could help improve wealth analysis, risk monitoring and the client experience, while maintaining the high confidentiality standards expected in the world of private banking.

A long-term vision for Groupe Banque Richelieu

According to the group's management, Christophe Juniet's mission will above all be to build robust technological foundations capable of sustainably supporting the bank's future developments. This approach reflects a conviction increasingly shared across the sector: digital transformation is no longer a one-off project but a structural factor of competitiveness.
